My Story
I have a wonderful mother to thank; she passed down a passion for designing a contemporary, unique, artistic, and free wearing style of jewelry. Her original company was called Wind & Rain and I grew up watching my mother's talent grow and shine. I would apprentice and practice with her, often creating items that ended up being prototypes. Fast forward all these years, and now the Second Storm has come!
Element of Design
All of my work is fabricated from Sterling Silver sheet and wire, sometimes with accents of 14 carat gold & rose gold filled wire. I've recently started creating items using Swarovski crystal elements & Authentic Beach Seaglass. Pendants, keychains, bracelets and rings, oh my! I also work with semi precious stones such as turquoise, malachite, charoite, lapis lazuli, onyx, and larimar.
Process
After much thought and deliberation (and many sketches) a one of kind creation begins to emerge. The sheet and wire is then being shaped, bent, twisted, and gently hammered to become something unique.
I am constantly trying to perfect my own creations, and with inspiration from Wind & Rain, Second Storm is off and running: my creativity is running wild.
